Nelson Adrian Perez-Martinez and Giannys Alexandra Ramirez-Fernandez and were sentenced to 20 and 12 ½ years, respectively. Ramirez-Fernandez and the victim allegedly lived with the same foster parents in Colombia and began trafficking the victim there prior to illegally entering the U.S. in 2022. Perez-Martinez illegally crossed the southern border on January 3, 2024, and was released into the country by the Biden administration. Investigators found that the two accompanied the minor to about six different motels in San Antonio from July 19 to July 30, 2024. They shared a room at each location, funded by the child’s commercial sex acts. An undercover San Antonio Police officer responded to a website advertisement for escort services and, posing as a customer, caught them in the act. We lodged an immigration detainer on both traffickers and will greet them once they serve the time for their crimes.
