You arrested our polling agents. The military took over four parishes and voted over 10 times each. Then, the military and JATT went around grabbing DR Forms at some polling stations and looking for our agents who had other DR forms. (38 of my agents were remanded yesterday). Even then, we beat you hands down because of the overwhelming support we received. Then, you resorted to manipulating DR Forms at the tally centre to give yourself a win. My father was a very playful husband. One day we were all gathered around my mother, tugging at her hair and clothes while she sewed, as children always do. My father was sitting over yonder, reading the Bible. I think he got jealous or perhaps he was intoxicated on scripture and suddenly stood up and tickled my mother. She giggled, and he ran. My mother chased after him, laughing. Then he stopped in the middle of the yard, letting her catch up so she could tickle him back. She did. He laughed and she ran back to us. He came again and tickled her, and they ran around the yard but this time, he stopped at the doorway. She tickled him and dashed back. He followed, tickled her, and darted away again. My mother sprinted after him, but when my father entered the house, she followed and they never came out again. We were too young to understand my father’s playful cunningness. Today marks five years since my father died, and three days since my mother turned sixty-three. I did not mourn him when he passed; that year, I was deep in the process of individuation, where I was training my mind not to be interrupted by things outside of it. I remembered him today because I miss playing around with my soulmate who is far from me, in the way my father taught me or perhaps in the way I saw him play with his wife..

Fellow Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu. Greetings. My social-media Manager, has drawn my attention to the lies and distortions on the social-media about the issue of the Balaalo in Northern, North Western and Eastern Uganda. The mistakes by the Balaalo in those areas are the following: 1. Okwonesa (cattle or other livestock, grazing on other People’s crops). Is that part of patriotism of a United Uganda? Is that part of the freedom of Movement of Ugandans within Uganda? 2. That kwonesa (livestock eating People’s crops), comes from introducing cattle in an area where there is no senge-nge (barbed wire)-good barbed wires or even chain links (obutiimba) to deal with the goats. 3. Even those who may have fenced, they may not have permanent water sources on the farm (bought or rented). Hence, in the dry season, they move out to look for water and, hence, kwonera People (livestock eating People’s crops). 4. Then, there is fencing carelessly by blocking People’s routes to the Nile River or other Public facilities.
