This Ombudsman case against Martin Romualdez doesn’t make sense to me! I am curious on what the Ombudsman actually has against the former Speaker — a case against Romualdez will only make sense if the Office of the Ombudsman will also file a plunder case against Chiz Escudero, Grace Poe and Zaldy Co. Imagine, the charges were Plunder, Direct Bribery, Graft, Indirect Bribery, and Money Laundering! When Zaldy Co…  the man identified by the state witnesses was only charged with graft and malversation. As a matter of fact — and this has been made known to all of us even before the exposè of the flood control scandal, former Speaker Martin Romualdez was not part of the Bicameral Conference Committee. Even more so, reports say that there’s an even “smaller” bicameral committee which only includes Zaldy Co and Chiz Escudero. That was clear to all of us! Reports say that the former Senate President Escudero excluded Grace Poe even as the Chairperson of the Committee of Finance. Where is his case? I am also curious about the affidavit Martin Romualdez authorized to be made public. But I am certain that he will face the charges against him head on — he’s been consistent about this since the very beginning.

New articles and releases about the documents, resource persons invited to the House Committee on Justice hearing were starting to gain traction — the public is beginning to remember the evidence that was presented before and of course… the anticipation of the Ramil Madriaga testimony. They used all their resources and reach to spread one ridiculous fake news — sinubukan nilang tabunan ang usapan tungkol kay Sara Duterte and we can expect more of these in the next few days. The Duterte supporters and their allies will once again weaponize the social media to attack whomever — the President, the First Family, the Chairperson of the House Committee on Justice, Ramil Madriaga — they will say whatever just so they can give Sara Duterte what she needs. A good distraction. I hope that concerned government agencies will do something about this! This is not okay —
