@216thinker And I don't think about manual is"the hard way" it's more about comfort but since I drive mostly in the countryside and not in the city's heavy traffic or long highway trips I don't feel the need for more comfort yet more expensive automatic

@cyketrik I don't think it's a furries thing. This is a regular thing these days with young people in general, mostly in towns with really good public transport on the other hand living in the countryside is a bit more difficult without driving licence

I’ve been told this directly more than once. Because I charge $60 for a photo, I’m “not a true artist.” A true artist should do it for the love of the art and do it for free. That is such a toxic take. I’m sorry I don’t use a skill I’ve trained for over the past 20 years, along with my specialized, costly equipment, just for fun for you. I’m sorry I don’t spend three hours of my valuable, limited time at the con dedicated to you just for the fun of it. Artists get burned out too. We have limited capacity, and our time and skill are valuable.
