@potf_racki Totally. The play that resulted in Kucherov's first goal is a microcosm of what I meant by playing OHL hockey. I respect that he's trying to put the team on his back but the way he's going about it isn't translating to success. He needs to simplify (a bit)

Also have a long standing criticism on our best player too, but that I can't quite put into words well enough so I'll just leave it at that 😅

These mistakes scream, "get your head in the game" To quote Lowetide's post today: "It’s obvious this team has accepted losing."

@KGYEG I have no faith in Katz to get anything right. Jackson is probably safe. Bowman has Knoblauch as a scapegoat so he's likely safe until his own coaching hire fails too. It all starts with Jackson, though. It's been a steady decline since he was hired.

@potf_racki There were many reasons to get up for this game: The playoff race, the last two finals, the trash talking since the finals, etc. I can't believe they came out so flat. We've subtracted too much heart/grit from the line up over the last two summers.

Team that has beat you twice in Cup Final, has chanted about your best players and chirped them and on home ice in a game you need to win you show up with no emotion and no physicality and now trail after 20 minutes. Not enough grit on this team.

Can someone remind McDavid that he's scored 64 goals in his league before? Stop passing up good looks to see what someone like Ekholm will do with the puck.
