We are grandparents! Leigh and I are excited to announce the arrival of our first grandchild. Although her arrival was early, both the baby and her parents (Mike & Melody) are doing great. We look forward to our new roles as grandparents and are excited to watch her grow.

I know it's been discussed, but what farm management apps are guys using? Should be shareable, and have inventory and equipment maintenance tracking. Everything above that would likely just be gravy.

@OOrsak @danbai30 We use the Notes app that comes with iPhone as they are shareable, free and easy to use. Anyone can make a service or task list that is editable by others and can be checked off when job is done. We use it for equipment maintenance and other farm tasks and it seems to work well.

@danbai30 An equipment maintenance binder might be just as easy for that aspect. Or just a shared notes app. Would be nice if every time there was a problem, it was put in an app, then opened when that machine is in the shop

@rpbrunel @GurrAdam We had a slight yield penalty a few years back in a dry spring and that was with an early termination as well, so rye wasn’t very advanced relative to this year.

@Agritruth @GurrAdam I see this working well on wet years....not sure about dry years. Good job. Can’t wait to hear more about it.

The saturated conditions in Manitoba allow us to conduct import research in partnership with @Agritruth We’re looking at trafficability in high moisture conditions and the impact of tracks or low ground pressure tires on compaction and subsequent yields in wheat. #CdnAg #Plant22

@Joe_Widdup @HenryW_AAFC @Agritruth This is the first spring that we’ll have snowmelt data. P fertilizer placement (band v. broadcast), source (MAP v. struvite), and rate (build v. maintenance) went on Spring, 2021. Just north of Brandon, Newdale soil.
