@LMcLachlan60 @Agronomyjay Same here. Haven’t seen this much tillage in a long time. Some of these corn stalks will likely end up with 3 passes total by planting time,with the foofoo discs or rts. Which most are charging $30-35/ac for. For $13 beans. I am clearly missing something. 🤔

If we change the perception on soil erosion to the environment stealing your soil and fertilizer… does it make it easier to want to stop it?

@marioncofarmer @pete_90210 So saving dirt and fertilizer from loss doesn’t pay? You pay rent or to purchase a farm. You pay for fertilizer. When erosion happens you lose both. That’s a loss of money. When the dirt/ fert stays in the field, it pays for covers
