📣 Hard work delivers results. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and supporters, today we surpassed the 500 validated nomination signatures—the most validated signatures collected in the AG's race—to help me get on the ballot for Attorney General. In this past week, we’ve collected more than 1,000 signatures, with more counted everyday, and we will continue collecting and submitting signatures through Friday. The next step is certification by the Secretary of State, when we will officially earn our place on the ballot. Let’s keep going. 💪 #TeamKim

Great to be back in Bristol yesterday (my old stomping grounds during law school @RWULaw) to join the thousands of Rhode Islanders who gathered for our nation's oldest Fourth of July celebration in Bristol! 🇺🇸 It's traditions like these that remind us how important it is to come together as a community to celebrate our shared history and future. It was wonderful to see so many families, veterans, neighbors, and friends celebrating our nation's birthday. Thanks to the organizers and first responders who kept everyone safe on a hot day too. As Independence Day approaches, I'm reminded that service and sacrifice are at the heart of our nation. With both of my grandfathers serving in World War II and my father serving two tours in Vietnam, honoring our veterans is deeply personal to me. It was an honor to join the Johnston Flag Day celebration and reflect on what our flag represents. Flag Day reminds us that patriotism is about more than a symbol. Happy Juneteenth! As we remember and honor those who fought for liberation, we all must recommit ourselves to pursuing justice in everything we do. Democratic Attorneys General do this work every day to fight for our fundamental rights, and I pledge to do the same as Rhode Island’s next Attorney General.

Today, I released a plan for a new Reproductive Justice Unit within the Attorney General’s Office. We are in the midst of the most significant and coordinated attack on reproductive rights in my lifetime, and the Attorney General’s Office must be the first line of defense for Rhode Islanders. That will be the mission of this new Reproductive Justice Unit - to stand up against any effort to undermine our bodily autonomy. Rhode Islanders deserve an Attorney General who is committed to leading the fight for our fundamental freedoms, and that is the type of AG I will be.
