I have left Twitter. I'll miss the conversations and the interesting people I used to follow on here. But the platform left me. Those interesting parts became a diminishing part of X. Instead, I'm on Mastodon and (to my surprise) LinkedIn. Maybe I'll see you in those places...

This one has been a long time coming. I'm pleased I finally took my first architect exam and have become a Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect! Not a bad way to start the weekend.

@BobaliciousBob Fair. I left Instagram when I started on Mastadon to keep a bit of a loud on it. I'd miss some of the discussions on here but the signal:noise is pretty bad these days. I'm not sure any current platform will replace old twitter

@AidanHarding And vice versa. I think the problem I have is that if I move away from twitter I don't think I'll want want to move towards anything else. It'll just be a good excuse to stop.

It really feels like this is dead. My 'Following' stream is missing so many people I follow. I can see them in my 'For you' stream, but that's so full of crap I don't want to ever look at it. I can also see that very few people ever see my posts now. Feels like the end...

@rsoesemann @halman_rub28119 @NicolasVuillamy @pmd_analyzer @scottcwells This is why I thought PMD needs something to turn the Flow XML into something like the AST that you get from code I don't think it's enormously hard, but I'm full up with other stuff - currently getting DevOps Centre and Gearset to play nicely together

You could make it work for N levels of depth, but you have to pick N, and it wouldn't work for a Flow with N+1

@halman_rub28119 @NicolasVuillamy @pmd_analyzer Absolutely. You and I discussed that only a real flow parser can implement more complex rules. So there is definitely room for both. I agree. Maybe @AidanHarding will add a flow parser to PMD one day 😉

Meris's favorite toy is a duck but today she decided it is pheasant season as well. As a totally non-working spaniel how did she know there is talk on here of young pheasants being around. Mind you if she ever runs off nowadays it is because she has scented a live pheasant 🐕
