Very productive day at our beekeeping club. We insulated round the hives using loft fur and bubble wrap and changed the feed. Finally, 3 girls away with wax cappings to prepare them for candle making next week. Top jobs done.

We all have homes to go to so have had to stop the production line at 15 - reckon we have about 1.5 times that still to jar. Not a bad haul from our lovely bees!

Although it started raining, we managed to lift some of our beautiful honey from Hive 2. Boxed, secured and ready for extracting next week. Great work from all involved. Apologies to Jessica about the sting 🐝
