Jowhar, 19 Oct 2025 – Together with the DG of the MOI of HS, Mr. Nuur Hassan, I met with the Mayor of Jowhar, Mr. Osman Mohamed & his team. Our discussion focused on strengthening collaboration between FGS & FMS to advance local governance and improve public service delivery.

In Baidoa, the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation @AidarusMHassan co-chaired the inaugural meeting on finalizing the functional unbundling of services and responsibilities across government levels.

Great to host alumni of various embassy-supported exchange programs on a day we are commemorating America's independence. The U.S. supports Somalia's young emerging leaders through several educational and professional development programs.
