@AidneMacColmain@buff_egan Are you out of your mind most of those frees came from ruff tackles. Also KK won more puck outs and a lot of those frees from our own 65 tj is just good at frees like what. Also love how you just disregard the clear bias the ref showed for Galway like that wasn’t a goal
@johnodwyer1972@finnster1977 After 25 mins he had given 6 frees inside the 70 to Kilkeny and ZERO to Galway
There were identical fouls at either end but he only seemed to want to give TJ Reid the shooting practice
@AidneMacColmain@finnster1977 On 4 occasions he pulled kk players up over carrying yet the most blatant one of all where Michael Duigan counted 10 steps with the ball hand was let go!? There's no consistency with these refs!
@AidneMacColmain@buff_egan Hahahhaahahahahahahahah your joking right…. Kk was up on points the whole game that “goal” was the only thing that kept them in. Are you ok
@finnster1977 An outstanding performance in the centre of the park by Johnny Murphy
One of the top referees in the country
He gave Galway ample time at the end to get the draw.
He was very generous to give Galway the chance to level the game
Top performance
@johnodwyer1972@finnster1977 He seemed to only want to give scoreable frees to Kilkenny for identical infringements in the 1st half
Johnny Murphy is a disaster of a ref
@finnster1977 Couldn't agree more about the reffing, the goal was scored after it was clearly shown that there was 10 steps, ball in hand taken before it was scored. It was taken well but the inconsistency with refs is madness, in the Cork/W'ford game players were penalised for taking 5/6 steps
@PCarrollSport Why can't the clubs gather those said members together for a social evening and some quality hurling on a big screen?
Social isolation is a bigger threat than a game of hurling not being on RTE
GAA are doing some disservice to their members not having these games on TV
Think of all the people keeping clubs going around the country who may have bad internet or no means of getting online who can’t watch these games
Something has to be done, this just isn’t working
A great win for Clare. But the elephant in the room is @GAAGO. I was in a pub with 150 people…a place with the best of internet and 20-30 times during the game it froze and buffered. It’s simply not good enough. @DaloAnto
@bbctheview@JimAllister@MarkCarruthers7 He's a clown....his glorious union is actually stronger with a prospoerous economy operating in 2 large markets
His form of unionism has operated on creating fear & division among people in the north....won't work anymore Jimbo
I’m going to stick my neck out before the championship really gets going and say @Galway_GAA can do the double in hurling and football this year . What an opportunity this is , we will need luck along with talent but I’m proud of them all. No one will want to meet either team 💪
Don't care what your politics are, every young woman in the land should look to Mary Lou McDonald and aspire to be that type of politician
strong, confident, smart and sincere. Far too often women in politics are ignored @MaryLouMcDonald breaks that mould. 🇮🇪 #sinnféin

@Breegemw@coilinduffy@GAAGO RTE are civil servants
Do as little as possible for their fat salaries
They could easily provide an "RTE News & Sport" channel but that would mean actually WORKING
For anyone laying blame at RTÉ's door for not showing Clare v Limerick. Live broadcasts of Saturday Games are with @GAAGo at the moment
- The #GAA decide the rights - not RTÉ
- BUT -
'Why isn't there a Saturday Game highlights show tonight?' is a valid question for RTE! #gaa
