- get a talented backup goalie who can take 30+ games so Vasy isn't playing dead in the playoffs after 60-game seasons

@SanitySane123 Now, in all fairness, I've talked plenty of shit about Vasy and his inconsistencies, but you can't be a successful team in the long run without a good goalie.
Just look at Edmonton, imagine how the past few seasons would have gone if they had Bobrovsky instead of Florida.

My takes on this brutal 1-0 loss - TB is not really a good team. They rely heavily on Vasilevsky otherwise this game is 5-0 - home ice disadvantage. Habs struggled all season at home and it continued tonight. - where are the stars of this team? Another night of zeros for Cole, Nick, Juraj and Ivan. If they lose, I’m sorry but it’s on them - We can’t ask any more from the likes of Dobes, Xhekaj, Anderson, Hutson, Bolduc, Dach, Danault, Texier, Guhle as they’ve been carrying the team. Unsung heroes every night. - Winning game 7 in TB will be tough. I don’t feel confident like i felt about winning tonight. It’s going to take an errorless game and a massive effort from every player.

Technically, this should be a penalty on Matheson if he doesn't touch the puck. My guess is the refs determined that he did and it was a follow through.
