Yesterday was a lovely day at Kenfig. Birding year ✅ - Linnet, Sand Martin. Highlight tho were finding Golden-eye lichen, Morel fungus & Early Purple Orchid. Finished the day at Ogmore by Sea, with yr ✅ of American Wigeon. #birdingwales #natureconnection

It's been a busy wk. Annual Bioblitz at @forestholidays Garwnant went well last Sat. Preliminary figures for sp recorded looks gd. This was followed by meeting & planning for Home Schooling sessions at Garwnant. Ended the wk with trail checks in a bit of sunshine #ForestFeeling

Looking forward to this @forestholidays Garwnant. A few local naturalists are coming to support this. Weather is looking good. Biccies ✅ cakes✅ coffee and teas ✅ and moth traps ✅. #natureconnection #naturematters

It was great to hv the opportunity last weekend to deliver a Signs of Spring session for Merthyr Biodiversity Partnership. We touched on not just flowering plants but also bird song, galls, leaf miners, lichens and mosses. #natureconnection #getoutside #getoutdoors

It's been a busy week @forestholidays Garwnant. We had engagement sessions with little ones, a Meet the Ranger session, a Nature by Night Bioflourescent Walk and ended the week with 39 kiddies from Fairfield School. Pond dipping was 1 of 3 activities. #ForestFeeling
