People keep saying this but virtually all the polling has returned with overwhelming support within MAGA (95-100% approval) and the share of the country identifying as MAGA has actually increased by a few percentage points since the 2024 election. The “MAGA is dead and Trump betrayed us” rhetoric is a subset of hyper online losers who didn’t vote for Trump in the first place. The incumbent President’s party always loses a few Congressional seats. The current election projections don’t show anything out of the ordinary. There is NO evidence supporting a Democrat sweep in the 2026 or 2028 elections. What’s more than that, this is hardly a war in that it’s currently poised to be a single military operation that will be swift.
