This guy was in Shibuya a like a week or so ago and the smoke from his truck was all over Donki, to the point it smelled as if something was on fire on the escalators. They were escorting the guy and his sword (held separately by someone else) through the store lol. Later he drove on the street blasting music, followed by his smoke smell lol... So wild.

They wizzed past me down a narrow backroad in Shibuya yesterday and the exhaust from them was horrible!! Not only are they a nuisance on the streets, but they’re also polluting the air. Keep go-carts off public roads. Japan isn’t an amusement park for foreign tourists.

Nah, once you get there you'll randomly run into the anime things that are so magical. Shrines, festivals, fireworks, community gatherings, pupils walking past in uniforms or carrying their super long bows, there's so much beauty. You may not be able to grow up with it and partake as insider, but you can visit and experience a sliver of that magic as an outsider and still have fun and appreciate it.

The weak yen has turned brand pieces into these unreachable high-altitude flowers, and our bodies are changing with age. Our ideals are still sky-high, but what we’re holding onto now isn’t just a hobby anymore.
