We’ve been taught to treat reproduction like it’s entirely on women, but that’s not how it works. Sperm health is influenced by things like age, diet, alcohol, smoking, stress, and underlying health issues and it directly impacts the outcome of the pregnancy.
Yet women are the ones expected to carry all the responsibility, the preparation and the blame when something goes wrong.

Men, by the way, lying to a woman to get sex cancels out consent.
If she agrees based on information you know isn’t true (who you are, your intentions, your situation), then their consent isn’t fully informed. The conditions they agreed to weren’t real, so the “yes” you got is built on deception.
That’s why joking about lying to women to get them to agree to having sex with you is about removing her ability to make an honest choice about their own body.
Consent isn’t just about getting a yes. It’s about honesty, clarity, and respect for the other person’s right to decide with the full truth.
