The Dallas Mavericks have matched the New York Knicks' two-year, $4.7 million offer sheet on restricted free agent Moussa Cisse, Yann Balikouzou and Kevin Bradbury of LIFT Sports Management tell ESPN. The 6-foot-11 center signed the Knicks sheet earlier Saturday but Dallas matches well before 48-hour Monday deadline.

Pro tip: Always come home from vacation on Saturday night, even if you don’t get in until 1AM. Having that entire Sunday to decompress and mentally prepare for the work week is priceless.

My person opinion:
Raptors doing the right thing by not assuming risk and pushing the deal through. Also, would be stunned if the NBA voided Leonard’s contract and made him a FA. The precedent that would set would not be well met by the NBPA. Suspensions/fines is what we’re talking about here.

Update on the Kawhi Leonard Raptors trade:
The NBA has informed the Raptors that they would assume any risk of any potential outcome of the investigation.
They will wait until the investigation is complete.
