Airbnb is expecting us to pay $1150 for the host's negligent install, and creating a situation where I could have been seriously hurt or even permanently disabled. If this had happened in a hotel, we probably would have been offered free breakfast at the very least, not a bill.

@Airbnb @AirbnbHelp I nearly lost my toes from an improperly installed floating vanity in one of your airbnbs. A 200 plus pound unit was held by a single bracket, and fell off the wall when i leaned on it while brushing my teeth. The vanity landed centimeters away from my toes.
