For me, the favorite is Casper Ruud. That said, Darderi has gone really far in this tournament You can’t overlook the fact that he’s Italian, with the home crowd behind him and possibly training on these very courts, he could easily pull off another surprise. Rome Masters 1000 semifinals today and we have some great matchups, especially the first one 🎾 According to Polymarket, Casper Ruud at 69% feels fair imo. Darderi has had a great run and will have the home support, but Ruud’s clay court consistency, heavy topspin, and experience in big matches should make the difference over 3 sets. Jannik Sinner at 92% is extremely high, but still hard to fade. Medvedev can make rallies awkward, yet Sinner’s current level, movement, and crowd support in Italy make him a huge favourite.
