@lambdaprog If you purchased from us, your unit will already have version 10.6 which has been out for a few years (mid-2020 if we recall correctly). We ship units with the latest firmware installed.

#DidYouKnow The venerable R2 and Mini are the longest running #Airspy products, and for a good reason: They can give you a respectable SNR where you need it the most. 6m => 107 dB 2m => 100 dB 70cm => 93 dB

We lost our quasi-official mascot today. Raspberry was born with a heart defect and lost her battle with congestive heart failure which became a major issue just before Thanksgiving. She was 28 months old (2 years 4 months). She will be missed. Her successor will be revealed soon

Get the latest SDR# r1702, libairspyhf r1.5.0 and Airspy HF+ Firmware r2.4.0 updates. Apart from the faster tuning and streaming, there are some experimental goodies for those who can read change logs ;-) airspy.com Enjoy!

In addition to providing a 10 MHz freq standard to the Airspy R2, this little GPS ref. clock sure is handy to fine-tune the PPM correction for other SDRs. The amount of SDR thermal drift until stable was a real eye-opener, too! (but fine once warmed up)
