@fandompulse No, it's just ripping pages out of the Joss Whedon playbook, except this time it's in space. They stole everything he did in Buffy and Angel. It's uninspired and vomitous.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 premieres July 23. Season 3 ended with a 55% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. One fan review: "I don't want to watch Friends in space." Season 4 includes a puppet episode made by the Fraggle Rock team. Showrunner Akiva Goldsman confirmed it last summer: "Could it do Muppets? Sure."The musical episode was Season 2. The holodeck murder mystery was Season 3. The puppets are Season 4. Is this Star Trek?

@cosmic_marvel Just do the first movie, comic accurate. Make it the original 5, and then for the sequel, add the more modern heroes. You can also use it to fix Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch by reintroducing them as mutants.

New reported details on the ‘X-MEN’ reboot film: • Will feature a coming-of-age story. • Wolverine will not be part of the lineup. • Will feature a younger cast that grows over time. • Lineup won’t be as big as the one in ‘X-Men ‘97’ • The original 5 X-Men will be the main team, with 3 extra members. Makes you think of all the effort Anthony Burgess put into creating the slang of his dystopian teens in A Clockwork Orange. He really need not have bothered. Apparently, the English language has hit its pinnacle and will remain unchanged 1000 years into the future.

@RMBee @Axanarfilm It's all such a horrible waste. This should have been an amazing proof of concept for what the IP could become in the right hands. Passionate people making something they truly love. But humans just have to be humans.

Star Trek comics editor Heather Antos attacks men: "If men had ever bothered to learn how to regulate their emotions the world would be in a much better place today." Why would Star Trek allow someone like this to run their licensed stories?

Tom and I spent the afternoon signing copies of Fright Night Aftermath and Origins for our Kickstarter backers. I spent all night boxing up the first 30 reward packages. If you still want an autographed copy, they are available on terrortime.shop

@RMBee I question the validity of a relatively small sample size study conducted by a company whose main business is selling movie tickets.

@heelvsbabyface That is the sad truth of the Kurtzman Trek: in his vision of the future, humanity has not progressed. 1000 years later, we're running over the same old ground. It flies in the very face of the progress we've achieved in just the 60 years since Star Trek first hit the airways.

@Nerdrotics Maybe it should be directed by a BDSM fan who is in a throuple, so it will be true to William Marston's original vision of Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman raped a guy in her last film. It was directed by a woman.
Collider@Collider

The DCU’s #WonderWoman reboot has one clear requirement: it needs to be directed by a woman. With James Gunn reshaping the franchise, the next take on Diana carries the weight of what made Wonder Woman such a cultural milestone in the first place. That film didn’t just succeed because of scale, it resonated because of the perspective behind it, something this reboot can’t afford to lose. Read our feature: collider.com/james-gunn-won…🛡️

@fandompulse Why do writers insist on picking fights with potential fans? Show fans your vision and let them decide. Don't denigrate things they enjoy and then expect them to thank you for it.

Green Lantern Writer N.K. Jemisin on racism in epic fantasy: “As a black woman, I have no particular interest in maintaining the status quo. Why would I? The status quo is harmful, the status quo is significantly racist and sexist and a whole bunch of other things that I think need to change. With epic fantasy there is a tendency for it to be quintessentially conservative, in that its job is to restore what is perceived to be out of whack…” What is wrong with these people?

Lol, that's interesting since he was VERY excited to work with me and claimed to be a big fan when it benefitted him. Now that he's trying to break into TV, suddenly he's filled with "regret". Good luck sucking all that Hollywood dick, buddy. Hope it's worth it.

Matt Dinniman, author of Dungeon Crawler Carl, has choice words for The Critical Drinker: "I regret that my books have any association whatsoever with him. I hope one day to have his part in book three removed all together. It's a distraction, and the only edgelord douchebag I want people to think of when they read my books is the AI itself." Why did he feel the need to do this?

If like me, you love #FrightNight then check out Aftermath, a book sequel written by @RealTomHolland that starts straight after the film ends, with Peter & Charley being arrested, Evil Ed returning and with help of Amy, looking to resurrect Jerry, loved it 😍
