@fozzywrites After MS he is the most loved guy in the team since his debut. Criticism comes along with Appreciation. I think the criticism is more due to his poor batting form. Within the batting form the lack of intent is the major reason for it. He is playing too timidly without attacking.

Negativity around Ruturaj Gaikwad is at its peak right now. And yes, for a lot of it, he has to take responsibility. But somewhere along the way, criticism of Rutu the captain has turned into outright hate for Rutu the batsman with people writing him off after just six poor games. His legacy at CSK is far too strong to be overshadowed by a rough patch. This is the first time we’re seeing him this vulnerable and instead of backing him, people are ready to discard a player who has given everything to this team and played a key role in winning two titles this decade. That’s just pure overreaction. Criticise his captaincy, question his decisions, that’s fair. But don’t write him off as a player. Remember what he’s done for this franchise before turning on him like this. I just hope and pray that Ruturaj the batsman makes a statement comeback against MI and reminds a few people exactly who he is.

I started disliking KL Rahul the day when India needed just one run to win the test match and he intentionally played out 4 dot balls for Prithvi Shaw to hit the winning runs in his debut series. No wonder he is a failed captain and is a weak mentality player. This same player encourages his teammates to play for their personal milestones and not their team goals. That mindset was the reason which took Indian Cricket backwards and it looks like he still hasn't learn from his past mistakes as we saw from yesterday's game against SRH. Such kind of players having that kind of mentality will never progress in their careers.

He was actually trying to hit a four so that he could complete his century on the next ball while also finishing the match. I don't see anything wrong with that. +

@TUnlimitedd Ya he covered it up at that time saying he was surprised how he timed the ball so well that it went for 6. But after few years in the video with two sloggers he admitted that he was disappointed bec he couldn't complete his 100. That's not a good mindset at all from a player.

@Ajay505111 Not to forget first wc group game against Australia in 2023. He was upset he hit the ball for six and not 4 and ended up with 97* and he was on his knees for playing that shot which denied him a century. 😂😂

@dasanannya22 @TUnlimitedd He himself was part of PBKS. Many matches were there where PBKS fumbled to lose from a winning position. If milestone is completed by the process it's good but deliberately trying to play for milestone after putting your team in good position should not be encouraged.
