Aare Gani Adams should pls beg Ooni, Pa Bisi Akande, Alaafin & Olubadan to settle the issue between him and the president. The reason the SW governors have not responded to his letter for 2 years is because of the above-mentioned. We need OPC & Iru-Ekun at this time.

There were clear cases of intimidation across different polling units, and my supporters were denied access to accreditation — let alone voting. This is not democracy. #apcprimaries

Our Yoruba people are the funniest set of people...give them that Yoruba Nation and see the replay of Ibadan-Ekiti rivalry, Ẹ̀gbá-Ibadan fight, Ẹ̀gbá-Ìjẹ̀bú issue...Ife/Modakeke, Ifon/Ilobu, Ọfà/Erinle, etc, still dey. Only Islam can unite the Yorubas. Ẹ gba fún Ọlọhun.

The problem with these is that for this to be potent enough the king or baale of the city must be the one to do the rituals, these are the reason why oba are the ones incarge of the land. Until he do this ,this will just be like a personal request for this man.

During the 2023 election season, I went on Agidigbo FM 88.7, warning Nigerians and particularly Yorubas about the disaster Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialabat would bring upon the country. Sadly, many refused to listen. I was also on Miliki 101.3FM in Lagos, saying the same thing, but callers kept phoning in telling me to shut up. Now look at what “Emilokan” has done to you all. Tinubu is a disaster! #RevolutionNow NB: The photo here is reportedly that of the mathematics teacher pleading for his life after bandits raided a secondary school in Oyo state and abducted and several others him before later beheading him.

Ethiopia is still willing to fund and construct the 220km Ethiopia-South Sudan highway but on conditions South Sudan provides security and right of way (ROW) for the project. Ethiopia has already allocated $738 million loan for the project that South Sudan will repay over 10 years period using crude oil. Ethiopia is offering South Sudan 5 years of grace period.

I did not pay attention to this man and not sure I heard of him until I started seeing some Kwarans promote him here a couple of weeks ago. Is he from Kwara Central? I understand the political chess move that would have made APC Kwara settle for a Kwara Central man (opposition will choose from Kwara Central if they didn't, and that will put them in tight situation as Kwara Central has the most votes), but I still think Kwara North should have produced the next governor. Let me go and read about this man. I don't know anything about him.
Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq@RealAARahman

Following extensive consultations with party structures and leadership, I am pleased to endorse Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki (MFR) as my preferred successor under the platform of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). Young, pro-people, astute, and broad-minded, Amb. Yahaya Seriki has been a great political mobiliser with profound investments in and extensive goodwill among the people of Kwara State. I have no doubt about his capacity and that his choice is appropriate for the people of our state at this time. While this does not in any way preclude all other aspirants from contesting in the primaries, I urge members and leaders to affirm the choice of Seriki as our candidate for cohesion, unity, and continuous success of the party as we hold our gubernatorial primaries on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The choice of Amb. Yahaya Seriki is neither a disapproval of any of our eminently qualified aspirants nor a whimsical attempt to delegitimise the noble aspirations of our people. But in a race involving some 16 great minds for one office, only one person can take the shot at a time. Finally, I acknowledge and commend the statesmanship of our aspirants, all of whom have shown discipline and impressive capacity to build on the undeniable achievements of our administration over the last seven years for the good of the people of Kwara State.
