Ending my year with my daughter in the ER after breaking her arm and needing surgery. So grateful for medical professionals and the work they do day in and out. Truly unsung heroes. Makes my “hard days” at work feel like nothing.

In the eight toss-up Assembly races we identified in our state legislature preview, it looks like Republicans will win five. They'll also win the 51st, which looked like a Dem pick-up. Still waiting on some final calls, but it looks like a 54-45 GOP majority in the Assembly.

I look forward to learning more about how and why people voted in this election. For example: Florida voted ~57% for Trump AND abortion rights. Feels like more evidence for introducing a ranked voting method and more amendments, so people can vote on issues rather than parties.
