@erwingroen No, I didn't say anything about "Amazon registrar closure". It appears that "Applied Automated Engineering Corp" went out of business.
English

Just to clarify, the Amazon registrar closure caused ‘Applied Automated Engineering Corp’ not receive expiration notices prior to the domain in time?
Jamie Zoch@DotWeekly
Pretty crazy to see a domain like AAE .com PendingDelete. Applied Automated Engineering Corporation owned it, registered at Amazon's registrar. Appears the company permanently closed.
English

@yagiznizipli It's a permanent delay for me. Guessing game. You wouldn't know you have a new chat message unless you click Chat and THEN see a bold message.
English

@AGreatDomain No worries at all Bob, I appreciate you using it and talking about it.
English

@DotWeekly Sorry for using the wrong name for tool, Jamie. Thanks for correction.

MW word of the day is Beltane, a Celtic festival. I used @DotWeekly (DotWeekly.com) Brand Intelligence to check out term. Exact, broad domains, TMs, company names, all in one place. One of numerous free DotWeekly tools.

Hey Jamie
I’m still new to the domain game, so still getting my bearings.
I guess it’s normal for the very best names to be snapped up before they hit the expiring lists.
With my tool I’m trying to focus on the more generic ones, and not brandable names at all.
I’m curating by hand as well. With GoDaddy inventory only, my list is averaging ~60 live auctions.
Whether this is enough volume for people justify paying me for the curation process, the market will let me know in due course.
I’ve had a few sales, but not really sure who my target market needs to be…
Have you had much luck with monetising your lists?

Currently in the process of bringing our first batch of SnapNames expiring domains into BuildOnDomains.com
Currently already processing GoDaddy’s entire expiring domain inventory. Slow ramp up while I figure things out.

Lazy Investor received an overhaul. Now can be viewed as a full list of all categories combined. dotweekly.com/lazy-investor I also fixed camelcasing issues, morphological lemma replacement error that was stripping letters from the displayed domain (crazy). When I built LI in the tabbed format, it was to easily allow you to see domains you normally wouldn't and entice different thinking than your normal search patterns. It involved a lot of clicking in the discovery process (as a user suggested) and now you can see it as a full list (All Picks) or (Browse By Category) as it first was built. Since this is a List format now, I will also be adding it to the Lists page on DotWeekly via a new tab.

It's READY! I don't know if I should launch this but I'm going for it. Wait for it tomorrow sometime, I think you will like it.
Jamie Zoch@DotWeekly
I will have another exciting launch, likely tomorrow as I finish things up today if all goes well.
English

@NameZoneCo I appreciate it and these fixes certainly help make everything better. BTW, this is certainly not just me, it's Claude and me. I actually likely make 20-30 parsing fixes per day and continue to tweak. Parsing remains the biggest and most complex part of DotWeekly.
English

@DotWeekly Amazed by way you see things so deeply. Thank you. Not worried about this as this is just a liquid type of domain but wanted you to see so that if there is anything wrong which needs fixing, then you can do it. :-) Thank you so much again!
English

Thank you. I really haven't paid any attention to Domain Scorer, so it doesn't surprise me there are some issues The bug: theneurorobotics .com split as [Then, Euro, Robotics] because every word in that bad split is in core dict. The intuitive [The, Neurorobotics] lost because neuro isn't in core dict, so DP couldn't find a the+neuro+robotics path either.
The fix: a "the/my/your/our/we/us" prefix detector running BEFORE the main DP. When SLD starts with one of those AND the remainder is (a) a dict word, (b) a clean 2+ word segmentation, or (c) brandable-shaped 5+ chars — prefer the prefix split. Skips when full SLD is itself a dict word so theology/therapy/theme/thermos stay whole. Should detect TheNeurorobotics now.
English

@DotWeekly Yes, sorry, i didn't post the complete information. It was my Durable domain so rushed a bit but will be careful next time. "The Neurorobotics" is also displaying it as "Then Euro Robotics" but not sure if this one is issue with your system or from where it is being fetched.
