RJ sir told me once that equity markets can be a lonely journey at some point of time for a long-term investor. The ability to hold on to your own thesis & process amid mad euphoria is very hard and can be lonely with some stress and especially for new investors. It is what is happening since last few weeks with fundamentals investors having no clue about madness in PSU stocks (which have become like bitcoin) or some crazy stories. Either one can jump inside and try and enjoy the ride which is very risky (with no clue when it is going to burst or even what they are buying or trading) or just sit quietly & follow your own process, research & stick with quality to invest at the right time which is less risky but rewarding over long term. Choice is oneself. Paisa jaldi kamana hain zyada – choice is ours. But, I think right now return of capital is more imp than return on capital. Equity markets are here to stay forever – no rush to deploy or regret. #RandomThoughts
