🚨 Should you subscribe to the 15/20% discount offer? Let's get some facts: ▶️ Best time to buy for status would be January 1st as you get full 12k status points and need just another 2k status for Platinum ▶️ The best time to buy with maximum discount is during Black Friday (November). Last year we had 30% discount for new members ▶️ Returning members hardly get any discount (or at best a 8% discount) but this time there is a 15% discount. Last year they had 20% off, but it didn't work for me. Was anyone able to buy at a 20% discount as a returning member? ▶️ With Axis removing Accor, it is much more difficult to get Accor points. ▶️ Another issue is the forex movement. Brazilian Reais have appreciated a lot against the INR (partly offset by the Euro appreciation) ▶️ While they haven't increased the subscription cost recently, they have done so in the past and we won't know if they will increase in the future (before the Black Friday sale) So all in all, while this is not the best time to buy nor the cheapest rate. The best time to buy is to assess whether you need a membership and whether you need Accor points now.

@akshat_money No sweet spots but this is how I used them- Did AMEX-Marriot-ANA and booked to and fro Japan flights on SQ (Group A was done plus JAL was not available for my dates). Sent some to United as Axis group A was done for a flight to HKG (Cathay flights were unavailable for those days)
