Sonic 3 feels more like a Sonic Adventure 2 movie than The Super Mario Galaxy Movie feels like a Super Mario Galaxy movie. I think the only reason people say the Mario movies are "more faithful" is because of references and OST, but is that really enough to be "more faithful"?

Here’s my take, while in the Mario movie it feels like Brie Larson is the only one genuinely passionate about it (and also Jack Black I suppose)
In the Sonic movies the director, the producers, the writers, and the whole cast are passionate about it, and that’s the difference
