So most people in Ireland really don't like Britain and are really against joining NATO in the name of the ridiculous principle of not belonging to any side, and not being obligated to defend others in case Article 5 is invoked, so why are NATO countries now defending Ireland? Ireland is welcome to deal with Russia alone.

They know how to defend against missiles, against different types of drones – including fiber-optic drones – from FPV to long-range drones. They are learning on the territory of Russia now, because we are responding to Russia’s attacks. So they have this opportunity. What will they do with this knowledge? I really don't think @Olympics understand the visceral feeling anyone in Ukraine has when they see that blood soaked flag being waved. Every time it's shown anywhere it brings huge anger, disgust and discomfort. That flag means death, rape and burnt kids bodies, it's not ok.

@DIRE20211 @_HenryBolton No we need basic comprehension of the constitution Britain already has. A document doesn't safeguard anything by itself. China's constitution "guarantees" freedom of speech but it's not worth the paper it's written on. Britain's might be messy, but it's worked for over 300 years.

What we need to do is clearly define it in a single document, like the Americans have, and make that the rock for all our laws to be based on. We need the absolute right to free speech. It's also clear we need the absolute right to have the means to overthrow a Government that becomes tyrannical. And due process, and jury trials, and checks and balances, and, I strongly believe, term limits... and so on. It will make it a lot easier for people to understand.

We must do a far better job of teaching people how the British Constitution works, why it works, its strengths, what it safeguards against, and what its constituent parts and institutions are, and what role they play. It worries me considerably that so many people do not understand how our nation is governed.
