Best comment today: Russian SU-27s, not Ukrainian! Country of manufacture Russia! At least you should have learned to write an article sensibly! Ukrainian Air Force uses SU-27s, or maybe you'll manage to write something similar next time?

We all know (and love) the Ukrainian Su-27s, but some people know very little about them—such as how old they actually are. The airframes still fighting today were manufactured in the mid-to-late 1980s (between 1985 and 1989). Ukraine inherited them following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and since then, several units have undergone modernization (to Su-27P1M and Su-27UB1M standards) along with service-life extension programs.
