@Ian___Alexander Yes. I was too vain, so had to go either clear or black. Didn’t want coloured elastomers conflicting with my anodised red scheme.

@Ian___Alexander Oh wow. Onza HOs. Super tough to get into when it was cold, easy when warm. Crazy light though.
English

#ProjectRudyProject ‘s only remaining dilemma is which pedal spec to restore it to.
At the beginning of the 1990 clipless pedal revolution, I was using PD-M650 with PowerGrip (quite good actually). But later went with Onza’s temperature sensitive H.O
Found both, new, on eBay 🤔

Right then... time to move the little one’s Islabike on...
Amazing these little things;
Buy one 💶
Spend 18months trying to prevent it from getting completely trashed 🤦♂️
Completely refurbish it 🔧
Sell it on for the same money 🤞

@Ian___Alexander Not a fan of the colour. Bit of a blast from the past. Silver disco shoes. It’s all about navy in SS20!

Got caught in a proper downpour earlier...
This thing is remarkable...

It's been a while since we let Chipps model anything, and now we've remembered why... ow.ly/Skt230pR81s

@davearthur I chose the Bokeh which I love. But riding Stainless Steel on the road.
English

Steel versus aluminium which would you choose? Who wants to see a comparison video of the Mason Bokeh and Fairlight Secan? instagram.com/p/B4mnbSOl_ZU/…

"That lavender should be so brilliantly purple when mature seems a kind of justice, truth in advertising on the part of the universe. I mean, what else should something that can cause you to lose your train of thought look like?" redkiteprayer.com/2019/08/in-the…

@harrismonkey Honestly don’t like the look. Would prefer an S-Line shape with all of the engine & performance gains. Wheels look OTT and rear end fussy. Really enjoying my boring diesel version which 8 months in continues to impress.

@holdmyale This just made me laugh. Just one small movement and then it all went wrong.

Most brands test and shoot their clothing with models, all polished and posed. We use Mission Impossible stuntman James Harris to put our casuals through their paces: Read our Q&A with James here: buff.ly/2ujOXr4

@mikedswinford Too many Audi drivers like me! Those are an important optional extra

@BikeDibley Use either ODI Longneck ST (with bmx style inner) or original ODI Yeti on my faster XC bikes. Never ever lock on. Would prefer to replace grips every 6months than have lock on.
English

@davearthur @off_roadcc I was a slow adopter on a MTB but now have one on all. Still reckon I might be faster point to point without it. I really have to consciously choose to keep putting it up to maintain speed. Round UK trail centres, I’m faster at full height.

My review of the new Nukeproof Digger Pro now up on @off_roadcc in which I talk about the important issue of whether you really need a dropper post on a gravel/adventure bike

@BruceDaltonCX @4seasoncol On my radar at moment the guys engaging with their consumers are: Alpkit, Pas Normal, Cafe Du Cyclist, Finisterre, Vissla wetsuits. Outside of this Nomos watches. Patagonia & Howies are always there. Noronna for consistently doing stylish tech

@Ian___Alexander Best ride I had down Sandy Lane was a bit like this. Except it was melting snow on the sides. So the run off created a cracking technical bedrock singletrack down the middle.
