@TheHerd @colincowherd @marcelobalboa17 Invite every running back, corner and wideout who gets cut this year to a US Soccer training camp...Let Pochettino train them for 4 years and see what happens
English

"He didn't fail, we won 3 games. We've got to look at some positives. We're not 70 years old in this, we're 30 years young in soccer. I hope he decides to stay."
@colincowherd and @marcelobalboa17 discuss Mauricio Pochettino's impact on the USMNT
English

@UglySockGoblin @RpsAgainstTrump I've heard presidents referred to as rulers or leaders of the free world all my life and I'm old as hell...Obviously it's not literal
English

@Top100Rick The better the player, the more they like brown turf…
English

The American golfer’s mind cannot comprehend that this is the perfect turf color for golf.
Gabby Herzig@GabbyHerzig
That color though @royalbirkdale
English

@jimrome @cobijones I'd like to see what he could do with every running back, cornerback and wideout cut this year by NFL teams...Give him those athletes to train for the next 4 years and see what happens
English

"I would like to see Pochettino have a full cycle."
@cobijones backs the #USMNT head coach to return for 2030 World Cup qualification.
English

@wxunfiltered @weatherchannel Grew up in North Dakota, now live in Phoenix
....There is no comparison, I'll take 115 over -50 wind chill every day of the week
English

@HMailKevin @dandakich Yeah but his desire to kick your ass was right there with Tiger's...
English

@AlThomp @dandakich Funny you mention Jordan, who couldn’t play baseball and is a mediocre golfer.
English

Dude…. I’m a freaking 5 handicap and never practice… have a few beers etc
Tiger Woods/Jack Nicklaus couldn’t begin to play another sport
It’s a fun activity
Tom Gillis@tcgillis
So I’m curious? Are you saying Golf isn’t a serious sport? Interesting take. I’m sure Tiger Mr. Nicklaus and many others would beg to differ. Check yourself in Dan it’ll be good for ya.
English

@jamierkennedy @ChrisGotterup Steve Stricker did alright with it, still is
English

Among the many unorthodox things that @ChrisGotterup does.
Sits his putter toe on the ground with the heel raised.
(For what it's worth, he holed this)

English

@loganhgolf9 @DalerRailer At my point I'll take anything that helps me get it up
English

@AlThomp @DalerRailer At this point it’ll take me 2 years to get 20 rounds in lol
English

I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m anti-net golf but like I carry almost a +5 I think. For me to beat my handicap by 5 shots vs a 20 to beat their handicap by 5 shots are night and day different. Plus why should I be punished for having worked to be good my whole life? It’s not a “handicap” issue as much as it’s a sandbagging issue to me
Terry Nance@nance410
Hey anti-net golf nimrods. The entire purpose of the handicap system is to allow players of different skill levels an opportunity to compete against each other. It works great with all my friends. Not sure why you can't figure it out.
English

@DalerRailer @loganhgolf9 A vanity handicap? What is that, a way to lose money?
English

@loganhgolf9 @AlThomp If a 20 plays well, everyone’s fucked.
But. If you don’t play much anymore, surely you’re vanity handicapping as much as any of these 20 ‘caps…
English

@loganhgolf9 @DalerRailer What? I'll take all the shots I can get but when only 8 of your 20 count, it's hard to get it up, especially when you get older...🤷♂️
English

I used to play a lot competitively and I never really play anymore. This wasn’t really referencing me as much as the tournaments I run at my club. My handicap doesn’t really change much because I can still scrape it around in 68/70 pretty consistently at my home club a few times a year. I don’t consider my handicap all that legitimate anymore, which is why I’m highlighting that I don’t really even know what it is anymore. My point was with your initial statement that if a 20 plays well good players are screwed

@jimmywalker8200 @LangmanVince In the US, the football player gets the girl
English

@AlThomp @LangmanVince American football not even in the top 5 watched sports worldwide. Will never be more popular. American football started from soccer too!

English

@UrbanExplorer00 @LangmanVince I'll take my chances...You take the soccer guys and I'll take the athletes...In 4 years they'll have all the technical skills they need and still be superior athletes
English

@AlThomp @LangmanVince That's not how it works. Europe's best athletes often play other sports. Football is about brains, technique and vision not pure athleticism.
English

@AlexiLalas Give me Pochettino and every NFL running back, cornerback and wideout who gets cut this year...in 4 years the US will get to the quarterfinals
English

No, I think Pochettino did a really good job of injecting national pride and passion into this USMNT. His flaw (or failure) was losing the game that he was hired to win, and losing it in a way that undid much of the good the team had amassed through the tournament.
Bill Duerden@bduerden75
@AlexiLalas @11Yanks The flaw of Pochettino was his inability to inject national pride & passion into the USMNT. That level of desire elevates talent and it was sorely missing in the match against Belgium.
English

@acaseofthegolf1 This guy also has 100 times the self-confidence Country Club Guy has...
English

@YahooSports Fact that Lalas is one of the faces of US Soccer is a bigger problem than Pochettino...
It's just "blah, blah, blah" with this guy
