@mrmckee The lack of coverage by the CGM of this event - the reception and what it means for LIV and 🇿🇦 - says enough about how the traditional golf media are all owned by and bend to PGAT and cannot be trusted as true and unbiased reporting of golf.

Honest question for the mainstream golf pundits like Eamon Lynch or Evin Priest etc who hate LIV, can you explain to me why this is bad for golf but whats happening at the Valspar Championship this week is better for golf?

I don’t have round-by-round breakdowns, but LIV Singapore averaged 71,000 viewers across four days on FS1/FS2 (Bryson DeChambeau winner). Last year’s three-day Singapore event on those same channels averaged 32,000.

@KVanValkenburg Always seems odd that he’s such a narcissist, yet also one of the most unselfish superstars in the game. Always made his teammates better on par with Russell, Magic, Bird.

LeBron has (I think justifiably) a massive ego, and it seems to cause plenty of drama behind the scenes at times, but I admire his willingness to make a commercial where the premise is: "I am trash at this new sport I'm deep into." Jordan would never. Also, shout out to carrying!

Bryson DeChambeau, Paul Casey and Anirban Lahiri have a very interesting opinion on golf club technology and the rollback. Bryson believes that drivers haven’t changed much since 2009 and the improvements are more to do with athletic ability. Paul Casey agreed with that and said there isn’t enough credit given to the athlete. And Anirban Lahiri said that golf course design has played a big factor. Bryson then followed up by questioning what the governing bodies are actually trying to achieve with a roll back and laid out what his goals are for the game. I found this 3 minute clip fascinating and it’s definitely worth a watch to understand the thoughts of the elite pros when it comes to this issue.
