10 things I wish I knew when I started as a music producer: 1. No one cares how you made the beat. 2. Don’t make beats to impress other producers. Make them to impress yourself. 3. You don’t need a manager if there’s nothing to manage yet. Get a lawyer first. 4. People will help you if they like you, not because your beats are 🔥 5. You can have quality AND quantity. Both. If you have both you’re already part of the 1%. 6. Ai won’t replace you. Humans using Ai will. 7. If u get your first hit song and then publishers start hitting u, don’t ignore them. They want to collect while the song is HOT. If u wait too long, they’ll move on and now you’re a nobody again. 8. Let go. Don’t wish and don’t predict. Make music, set it, forget it, move on and let god do the rest. 9. The beats you don’t love are the beats they will choose. 10. Everything is cringe until it isn’t. Try stuff and be a pioneer, not a follower.
