The truth is that under President Trump’s leadership, the U.S. military decimated the Iranian regime’s capabilities in just 38 days: Iran’s defense industrial base was almost completely destroyed. Iran’s ability to build and stockpile ballistic missiles and long-range drones has been set back by years. The vast majority of Iran’s ballistic missiles, launcher vehicles, and long-range attack drones were destroyed. The Iranian navy was annihilated with more than 150 of their ships sunk. And Iran’s air forces are functionally and operationally irrelevant now.

Very smart decision to keep the blockade in place to put maximum pressure on the terrorist regime in Iran.    While I support a diplomatic solution as the preferred outcome to bring Iran to heel, we must remember Iran’s history of keeping their word and honoring deals. It is, at best, checkered.    Accomplishing these objectives is the only way to ensure stability in the region going forward and makes sure Tehran does not go back to its old ways:   - Doing whatever it takes to get the highly enriched uranium out of Iran so they cannot make a dirty bomb   - Ensuring the regime can never enrich uranium again — which is different than peaceful nuclear power - Capping and monitoring the regime’s drone and missiles program - Ending Iran’s support for terrorist proxies   I trust President Trump to make the right decision and pick the right method to achieve these results. For the sake of the world and the region, the sooner these results are achieved, the better.

I’m glad to see this and it demonstrates the concern and true feelings of the Israeli government and IDF.  The IDF fights to save Christians in Syria and elsewhere. And Christians are a vital part of their society and military.  The soldier who smashed the statue will undoubtedly face severe consequences.
