The City of Franklin is launching a new pilot program: the Giraffe-Assisted Urban Forestry Unit Starting today (4/1), you may spot giraffes helping with tree trimming, upper-canopy care, and anything just out of reach. Chosen for their height, eco-friendliness, and ability to inspect trees eye-to-eye, they’re already hard at work across the city. Each giraffe has a designated zone, but some have taken creative liberties with trees, lights, and anything leafy. For safety, please don’t approach, feed, or question their professional judgment.
