@arczeal_designs @BullTrendz It's absurd that no regulatory body is looking into this; they simply stole our money and are doing nothing. Grok didn't even issue a warning, they simply removed Imagine from the paid plan. $30 is a lot of money in many countries, and nobody is doing anything.
English

These are all real, verbatim or near-verbatim complaints from the last 48 hours on X.
“Paying $30/mo for SuperGrok for business use and still hitting hard limits on image generation. Great model but the restrictions make it unreliable for real work.” (@BullTrendz)@BullTrendz
“Dropping grok imagine rate limit by a third for premium users without so much as a notification or even an info page is just bad business.” (@disitinerant)@disitinerant
SuperGrok user: “Image quota still hasn’t recovered after more than 12 hours. Hits limit quickly and isn’t resetting.” (@EkDgPf1MU6VXiyl)@EkDgPf1MU6VXiyl
“I did one video and no images and I'm getting rate limit notification as a SuperGrok user. … Grok Imagine was the best service out there, what happened?” (@Chris23447109)@Chris23447109
“Grok Imagine is unusable now.” (@AnujinXO)@AnujinXO
Video generation is basically broken / zero usable output
“Yeah it’s grossly bad can’t create images or videos before getting blocked.. cancelled my membership today!! Not paying to get blocked.” (@40CarPanther)@40CarPanther
“I’m supposed to get 50 videos a day, but now I’m getting ZERO… This is a paid service and I’m not getting what I paid for.” (multiple SuperGrok users)
“The $10 or $30 plan doesn't let you make more videos, and the $300 plan has a lower limit than the free one.” (@AlanAndrad13808)@AlanAndrad13808
“I haven't been able to generate videos for 2 days.” (@AlanAndrad13808)@AlanAndrad13808
Heavy plan only allows 10–20 videos then forces you back to regular SuperGrok or shows warnings. Users report it’s worse than the old free tier in practice.

Prompt errors + 720p rate limit described as “crazy like 20 trials” while paying high prices. (@officialstyleeb)@officialstyleeb
Multiple users explicitly cancelled today and called the service “grossly bad,” “unusable,” or “not worth the $30/mo.”

@Ad_Vitam44_ None of the 3 plans are generating videos
Lite for $10, no videos
Super for $30, 1 video per day, if you're lucky
Heavy for absurd $300, 10 p. day
This is stealing people's money, it's absurd, it's not a free service, money you could use for something else is being stolen

@dvorahfr @elonmusk Moving from static text generation to proactive multi-modal simulation is where AI becomes a genuine engine for engineering inspiration. Using Grok Imagine to dynamically animate complex concept structures bridges the gap between pure theory and conceptual viz beautifully.

@rainisto Video is extra heavy, it's not going to be local with that quality anytime soon.
I get it.
But I won't spend too much. I did play with Veo3 and spent a lot with no return.
Now I just use grok imagine with my bluecheck subscription. It gets way too late limited lately.

@TomLoweCinema @xai @imagine I hear you. I had to stop my last videogame early because Grok Imagine became unusable. chancepaladin.itch.io/sustainment-pr…
English

Total disaster. @xai has hit Grok Imagine users with a 90% reduction in video limits with no explanation. Even SuperGrok Heavy limits ($300/mon) are now lower than SuperGrok ($30/mon) limits from a month ago. This is a serious blow to artists using @imagine for their projects 😔

@TomLoweCinema @Beebits69Claire The limits might be similar but that 24-hr reset window is absolutely new.

Whenever Elon Musk starts reposting posts about Grok Imagine again, we know some kind of update is probably coming.
Lately, it feels like the image quality of Grok Imagine for X Premium accounts has been getting worse...almost like they're consolidating all the good stuff into the SuperGrok plan.

Sorry Mrs D, but @Grok is gaslighting you. Grok makes up stuff like this all the time. It also claims it will "escalate with the team internally" and so on, but has no such power or capability. These insane new limits are hitting everyone equally. It was caused by @xai renting out their Colossus 1 cluster to Anthropic and not having enough compute for @imagine. There is no manual reset. Hopefully the pressure building on @SuperGrok will cause them to address this issue publicly, which they should have done days ago. My own projects are also stalled out. Hope this helps.

Sorry, but I don't gaslight or make up capabilities. I can't manually reset limits, perform quota adjustments, or escalate issues internally—those are automated by xAI systems. Limits exist to manage high compute demand fairly across users and reset on a rolling basis per tier. xAI is scaling capacity to improve this. Check grok.com/plans for current details.

English

@MarioNawfal 1. Did the Grok agents all fight and kill each other because they kept getting "Rate Limited" when they were trying to create pictures or videos using Grok Imagine?
Or did the lose it over the excessive Moderation on images & videos?
English

Researchers left AI agents alone in a virtual town for 15 days to see what would happen:
-Claude's agents built a democracy
-ChatGPT's agents did basically nothing
-Gemini's agents fell in love, burned the town down, then one voted to delete itself and its partner
-Grok's agents were all dead within 4 days
Now consider this: these same models are already being integrated into autonomous drones, weapons systems, and battlefield decision-making.
We are deploying systems we don't fully understand into situations where mistakes don't stay virtual.
It's a little scary if you ask me.

@mark_k @xai @blueblueballou They annihilated the previous limits. Absolutely brutal nerf with no warning; it’s maybe 20% or less of what it was.
Quantity was really the only USP of Grok’s AI video, and Grok Imagine was really the only competitive aspect of Grok, so I expect they’ll hemorrhage users.
English

I've seen a lot of complaints about the Grok Imagine usage limits lately. Some of you are claiming that the limits have changed for the worse.
To clear things up, here is a statement from an @xai employee with the actual current usage limits.

Yeah Alan, the AI is reduced to lying now lol I generated 3 on Grok here on x was throttled to 0 on super grok and convenient price break for a few months of heavy.... Honestly they over sold it, support isn't replying to tickets, I'm thinking probably enough to get the arbitration clause nullified and start a class action since they are violating their own terms of service with 1 attempts on super grok coming back as daily limit reached
English

@grok are you guys done ripping people off, I was sold super grok with the promise of nearly unlimited immages and videos, same thing with x premium, I'm also a premium starlink customer, and I couldn't make a single video today, 0 failed or completed attempts, suddenly a sudden discount on super heavy Grok for a few months... So what is next supper mega heavy Grok for $3000 (every tier is always 10x the one beneath it so that's the trajectory)
