Grok Imagine daily 720p limits are now nuked into oblivion, no longer resetting after 12 hours. This comes after limits were already cut more than 50% in the last month. @xai have compute to sell to Anthropic but not for their own SuperGrok customers? Please help @imagine

@RichSilver Grok Heavy limits appear to be lower than SuperGrok limits from a couple weeks ago. Still not a single word from X about this.

Just putting it out there - if someone gives me $50k, I will make a proper version of The Odyssey with AI. Would take several months with a small team. I even have experience with this story - I made a version on VHS with my friends when I was a teen. 😄

I think they are severely pinched for compute, after renting out the Colossus 1 GPU cluster to Anthropic, switching the algo to pure Grok, and trying to launch Grok Build. The least they could do is communicate openly with SuperGrok subscribers. Some of us might be willing to put up with temporary limits but they need to communicate let us know what is happening.

Holy crap or any of you guys experiencing this I only started doing a few generations both video and still image this morning and I was told I would reached both my video and still image limit. and this is what I keep getting and I'm a super Glock user. They are really really pushing this super duper duper grok which is 300 bucks a month

xAI seems to be trying to push $30/mon SuperGrok users into a $300/mon tier. But Heavy users are also reporting dramatic reductions in their own limits over the past two days. It's possible that current Heavy limits are actually LOWER than SuperGrok limits from only a month ago!

@Cephas_Badger @grok We don't know for sure if they are permeant. I personally don't think so. I think they are scrambling for compute trying to launch Grok Compute right now. Last month I had like 7 days when I could not generate videos at all, then it eventually got fixed.

@TomLoweCinema Yeah, I've been keeping on top of things, my supergrok used to be ~150 videos a day, that's what Heavy is now. Supergrok, i can confirm, is about ~50 if @grok is feeling "generous". Don't believe the bullshit, these changes are permanent.

Not only have Grok Imagine 720p limits been reduced by about 85% in the last month, including massive reductions in the last 24 hours, but severe new moderation filters were added today. Prompts that sailed through yesterday are cooked. They are rubbing salt in the wounds. 😔

@AndrewCurran_ It's interesting how they never point out in which areas they are seeing cooperation with China on AI? China does not need to be pressured to enact controls on bioweapons and criminal activity, so what cooperation exactly are they requesting from China? Any specifics?
