I don’t speak of this often but listening to Nigel Farage in tonight’s debate I must. My dad was an immigrant. From the moment he arrived in this country he worked hard every day in labouring jobs. My most vivid recollection is of his tired & weary eyes and oil stained overalls when he came home after a 12 hour factory shift. Even then he was able to raise a smile for us. He was kind & gentle & loved my mum with passion. He raised a family of 4 & instilled in each of us a fierce sense of right & wrong & love of country. His proudest day was when he became a British citizen. I recall him with love & affection & pride & carry the lessons he taught me in my heart every day. If it were not for my dad I would not be a lawyer today & in his memory I work hard everyday to make a difference for as many as I can. Immigration is a beautiful thing & don’t let charlatans like Farage tell you otherwise ❤️

I think that is what feels right and just. Chief Executives are paid handsomely to carry responsibility and accountability for their decision making. They are not immune from the same penalties their junior colleagues face. It was jail for sub-postmasters… so… AC

Phil - the undermining of National Insurance only serves to prove the point about the real intentions behind the undermining of the Social Care system and National Health Service. Clearly those promises to fix Social Care were untrue and ‘baggage’ the Tories could never deliver.
