Something Platini could only dream of Zidane also had an all-timer euro, way better playmaking euro than Platini’s. But statspadding tax will make y’all think Platini is better at the euros 😂

@someballfacts @foyjhn He also got sent off and missed the R16, QF & SF of the 98 WC his teammates pulled him out of the 💩 A different era where defenders got away with a lot more than in Zidane's. As I said both great players but for me Platini is #1 . Many people view Platini as France's #1.

@AlanD7000 @foyjhn Diff era. Nobody will 3ver score 9 goals in a euro again. Zidane won the euro. Platini unlucky in the shootout but reality is zidane was the protagaonist of two world cups and one that he won with the best peprformance weve seen in a final.

@foyjhn @someballfacts How did he flop in a WC? He lost a pen shootout in the 82 SF and lost to a great German side in the 86 SF. And let's not discuss Zidane's red cards in major tournaments. Platini scored 9 goals in 5 games at Euro 84 🏆 My opinion is Platini was the greater player.

@JoshFddg @LiamBadco Parker never fought Dubois it was Joe Joyce who knocked DD out. Parker was knocked out by Wardley in his last fight so not sure he's a good barometer for anyone at this moment in time. Is AJ shot? We don't know but he's looked terrible in his last 2 fights vs Jake Paul & Dubois

He was the most fluid boxer Mike had ever faced he'd never fought anyone so relaxed who threw hard multi punch combos & was able to push him back. As far back as 87 stylistically I always felt Buster could be a problem for Mike.

@walt_ene @TouchlineX Never mind Henry I'm not convinced Zidane is greater than Platini. Yes stats don't tell the full story but remember both guys were no 10's. Platini was a more decisive player. He won three Ballon D'Ors in a row. 9 goals in 5 games at Euro 84 🏆 For me Platini is the greatest.

@JaoTalvez @TozzaFla That was in 86 not 82. Players miss penalties it happens. Platini missed one in the 86 shootout vs Brazil but no-one talks about that because France won. Baggio missed one in a WC final. I've seen Maradona, CR7 & Messi miss pens in big games. It happens. Often.
