@Boxing_Tribune If your only metric is new subs, sure, you’ll underrate it. But platforms also pay for retention, engagement, programming depth, and reusable IP. A library doesn’t have to be the engine to still add real value.

@ewboxing I never said no value...I said overstated value. It doesnt drive subs, which is the primary $ objective...because almost everyone interested in the library would already be subscribed to the main boxing content.

Re: Top Rank's fight library as an asset. Seriously, how many people go back and watch old fights? A handful of us boxing nerds and, even then, it's not every day must-watch. The TR fight library has about as much value as a pile of old, losing scratch-off lottery tickets.

@Boxing_Tribune That’s the flaw. You’re judging it only by direct replay revenue. Libraries matter because they deepen the platform, extend IP life, feed clips/docs/programming, and add negotiating leverage. “Not the main course” does not mean “no value.”

@ewboxing ...and revenue-wise that doesn't really add up to much in the big picture. It's bonus content, coming with the deal. Even the WWE library, which is much more evergreen, doesn't really move the needle. All I'm saying is that it's not a big deal.
