William Osula was absolutely outstanding that first half. Probably enough to say he was MOTM for me. A nuisance to the back line and some of the hold up play / skill has been phenomenal! For those asking why I back Howe. Two champions league qualifications in four years having inherited a team destined for relegation. Won the club’s first domestic trophy for 70 years despite the club’s failure to sign a player to improve the first team since Tonali in 2023 because of PSR. Forced to sell Anderson and Minteh for PSR. Was left last summer without a sporting director and a CEO. lost isak on deadline day - the team’s top goalscorer and most important player - and missed out on Trafford, Ekitike, Pedro and Sesko as they went elsewhere for money and to club’s with more aura in London and Manchester. Yeah he’s made mistakes, but if you look at everything he has achieved I’d back him over anyone else to lead the rebuild as a manager with a proper recruitment structure in place #nufc

No Woltemade or Wissa, who continue to be 3/4th choice strikers. Thoughts? For me, that's a strong XI & Osula as striker allows the team to play as Howe wants them to.

I’m going to say it now so we are all clear. I’m not calling for Eddie Howe to be sacked because he remains the best manager for the job and has over achieved for four years. My view hasn’t changed on that. Yes this is difficult and he’s under huge pressure now but he deserves a chance to rebuild the team in the summer and go again. And I’m very confident he will bring more success in the future. Thanks for your time. Nobody will get me to change my mind. #nufc

Really, really good away win, that. 4 wins from last 5 on the road. Am sure the Howe out brigade told me season was over a fortnight ago... BUT 6 points off 5th. All of the top 9 (with exception of Arsenal) now played home & away. Still plenty to play for in the league! #NUFC

So much talk about one Germany international #nufc signed but what about the other? That was Malick Thiaw's 44th game this season and he was outstanding (again). Botman/Thiaw has the potential to be a top tier CB pairing for years to come
