Buddy of mine was working there as a surveyor when they were attacked. They ended up barricading the door of the ATCO trailer as the other buildings and equipment were shot up, ransacked and destroyed. Some were praying in the trailer waiting to die as the sound of gunfire and windows smashing echoed. Luckily the attackers didn't check every building. To this day nobody has been charged and the investigation stopped. The BC government has been complacent in looking the other way because of optics and cultural sensitivity issues as they fail to enforce the law and protect energy workers from First Nation extremists baught and paid for by foreign interests. This is why every energy project west is in jeopardy and investment is poor. This is also why we should also never consult with dogs.

I absolutely hate it when people call people from Saskatchewan "Saskatchewanians". To me the term just sounds dumb. Other names I like better are Saskies, Saskatchewaners, Sasklanders and Saskatchewanites.
