@MadScientist_42 Comply in the most brittle way possible.
I know it's not habit but if you are going to comply it should be an implementation that gives you cancer.
A SOAP API over asn.1
Make Microsoft ETW look friendly in comparison.
For the record...again...speaking as the Lead Maintainer of PHA Linux, An Embedded Linux Distribution used as a Template for other things, actual products in use in the industry...
The Age Verification laws being passed presume that I am liable for non-compliance and will get fined for the same. Even if I don't reside in their jurisdiction, presuming that if it's there, I sold into or sell out of their idiot State or Nation.
Saying I'm an idiot picking a fight is fucking stupid. My problem is already here, guys. You take a stance and go with it. The fight is here for me before it impacts you.
The notion that you can ignore it is all well and good. I am- but I have to take more of a proactive stance to the point of retaining Counsel to push back. Just because you don't need to does not lead to MY needing to do so.
You should be ashamed of yourself if you think this of me. Not that any of that sort would ever know shame or when it's time to fight anyway.
Moderators of the r/Linux subreddit are now censoring posts which talk about Age Verification.
Not only are posts being removed, but I’ve heard from multiple Reddit users who have been banned from r/Linux for expressing opposition to Age Verification.
Valve in response to the New York Attorney General lawsuit:
“It may have been easier and cheaper for Valve to make a deal with the NYAG, but we believed the type of deal that would satisfy the NYAG would have been bad for users and other game developers, and would have impacted our ability to innovate in game design.”
Overall. I loved my first visit to Australia!
But WOW. Aussies love some dumb rules. I’ve never met a more aggressive bunch of circuit marshals in my life and the high vis vest might as well be the national color.
Weird for a group that think they’re the fun ones at the party.
@Omega769Omega@SleepisforT On Gamepass you'd have to complete them all in 3 months to come out ahead, then they're gone forever.
Paying subscriptions ( which get jacked up all the time ) is stupid.
Some of the best RPGs of the last decade are on or coming to Xbox Game Pass. Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 & 2, The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt, and now CP2077!
These RPGs are all fantastic, with story, characters and side quests galore. Really need to check them out 🔥

What's the point of Unity?
@Pirat_Nation We already have Heroic launcher on Linux which combines all the stores including Epic and Gog and makes the windows games run via proton.
I doubt they could do better.
GOG Galaxy will get native Linux support.
The co-founder and owner confirmed that work has started on the project, although it is still in a very early stage.
They are recruiting a senior engineer for it. Kiciński described himself as a big Linux fan and called it a serious priority for the company.
No release date or ETA is available yet. Linux users currently rely on third-party tools like Heroic Games Launcher to access GOG games.
Early prototype of a real-time, physics-driven car deformation system built in Godot on top of Jolt Physics.
All deformation is computed at runtime (no pre-baked damage), and it runs in real time on older mobile hardware.

@AlanKohler@abcnews Grok is simply a mirror on society and you don't like what you see.
It doesn't think Alan, it has no opinions. It made up some sentence statistically that matched your question.
Try image searching on Google for naked Elisabeth. Why is that ok?
My first @abcnews column for the year: AI is an ethical, social and economic nightmare. I asked Grok to make a nude picture of Queen Elizabeth I. It refused, because it's not allowed to now, but added that it doesn't like doing it anyway.
