🇸🇦 In 2018, a man named Elias Abulkalaam Jamaleddeen broke into a woman’s home in Mecca, stabbed her to death, and robbed her.
The man was captured, convicted and sentenced to death and crucifixion. He was beheaded, and his body was crucified and publicly displayed in Mecca.
If this crime happened in the West, the convicted man would be spending his time in a 3 star motel, getting free food, clothing, electricity, housing, and entertainment, all paid for by the victim’s family and other law abiding residents.
The difference between Islam and liberalism is vast when it comes to order and justice.

Shaykh Ahmad’s name should not be used as a tool in someone else’s argument. His positions should be addressed on their own terms, not through the lens of unrelated individuals. And those who wish to critique him should do so directly, with clarity and evidence—not by invoking the behaviour of others as a substitute. In the end, the matter is simple, even if it has been made to appear complicated: Address deviation where it exists. Hold individuals accountable for their own words. And do not drag others into matters they are free from. Anything less is not a defence of truth—it is a departure from it.
