Very humbled, alongside the Team, to receive a National Police Chiefs Council commendation yesterday from the NPCC lead for VPC at @NVPC2026 We are a very small team who are all dedicated to ensuring that VPC schemes are delivered safely for both Cadets and Adult Leaders.

Minimum unit pricing (MUP) is here to stay, in Wales at least. Today, Members of @WelshGovernment / @LlywodraethCym – voted to keep the minimum price for alcohol that was introduced in 2020, and to increase it from 50p to 65p per unit. Pricing alone cannot solve every alcohol problem and effective forms of treatment for those most vulnerable must also be improved, but by removing the cheapest, strongest drinks from the market, MUP will continue to make a significant contribution to reducing alcohol harm.
