In my last 16 games i faced: 6 naya seeker 2 Rakdos madness 2 mono red madness 1 Gruul seeker 11/16 decks played sneaky snacker in 4 copies 😂

@vichrocha It's one of the best, if not the best, because can rely on Snacker alternative plan other than Kessig and Guttersnipe, and I don't think it's fair, because even 8 Hydroblast are not enough.

@Ale_Piraccini But then you kill one of the best decks in the format. I don't think it's worth banning sneaky snacker as of now.

Naya Combo is obviously already a problem: is it new combo's fault or Sneaky Snacker's? I think both, I wouldn't mind to see them gone on Monday (I would love to play the new combo but honestly I don't think it's fair). Snacker has always been a problem and it will keep being.

@GavinVerhey The combo is broken, but let's also remember another card that just won 3 challenges together with the combo and that doesn't have anything to do with the combo: Sneaky Snacker, it was everywhere before the combo and it is even more everywhere also after the combo.

Hawkeye's Bow + Seeker of Skybreak combo has now won all three Magic Online Pauper challenges this week. For those who have played with/against it so far - any thoughts? #wotcstaff

My final thoughts on Seeker Combo are that the archetype is broken, but it has one massive problem: it can't beat Mono-Red Madness. If someone manages to implement a strategy that consistently beats Mono-Red, then a ban will be inevitable.

@jakeAls The removal spells are still more than the combo creatures and protections they can just sit and win with milling, it happened to me during the testing

@Ale_Piraccini I found a way in Jund. Side out the combo and 3 safekeeping. Side in 4 weather 4 breath 3 macabre

@Snap978 In my opinion, the engine lifelink creature + basilisk gate is not enough to beat madness, it's just slow, cost 3 mana to activate and takes just a removal

@Ale_Piraccini The Naya version seems pretty favoured against Red, no? Are you talking about a pure combo version (GR or Jund)?

@vichrocha Toxin is great in a metagame full of Spy, Elves, Terror and stuff like zombie, unfortunately there's only terror Online so i had to cut it. The deck in my opinion is a valid choice for the Paupergeddon, the key factor is that has a better matchup against madness than jund

After testing Seeker Combo in different shells, I've come to the conclusion that I overestimated it: it's too easy form many decks to interact with it. I haven't reached a final verdict yet, but I'm not satisfied with the testing; so far, the archetype is a fail.

@SaffronOlive I think the key factors to watch out for are that creature removal, unlike Glee, doesn't generate a 2-for-1 but just a 1-for-1, and that the combo's mana costs are very low. Both aspects have a ton of potential.

Pauper people: how scared are you of the new Hawkeye's Bow + Seeker of Skybreak combo? It seems like the new fastest two-card combo in the format. Is it going to break things? Will removal keep it in check? Curious what people who play the format regularly think.

My first post on X is about the Pauper Banlist: I think the new combo with Seeker of the Skybreak will be banned, maybe not on June 30th, but it eventually will be. Also, I think Bonder's Ornament will stay legal: how many times have you actually managed to activate its ability?
