I mean, my company I work at does $10B in revenue a year, it's reasonable that it would be a very high bill, and we laughed our asses off. Cause it was comically miscalculated.

No, there are infinitely many different combinations of fundamental constants that would lead to stable states These fine-tuning arguments sound convincing when focussing on one or two constants while keeping everything else fixed. If the neutron was 0.2% lighter but the electron was ~10% heavier the proton would be stable again We also have discovered hundreds of unstable proton-like states. If we start varying fundamental constants, e.g. quark masses, we could easily end up with many *more* stable states and new kinds of atoms that happen to be unstable in our Universe (look up hyperatoms) Not to speak of changing fundamental *equations*, which are as important in these arguments as fundamental constants. Modifying Maxwells equations would imply magnetic monopoles and there could be a whole spectrum of magnetic atoms with its own chemistry

The Commodore 64 dropped in 1982. The NES dropped in 1983. All those computers have less power than the touch panel controller in my cell phone. As is was for computers, as it will be for LLMs. "Mythos class" will run on a midrange laptop in 6 years. training it will be in the realm of hobbyists. This is going to be the most proliferated technology since the tamagotchi.

Big fan of the HTTP QUERY method proposed in RFC 10008. POST to a /search endpoint is just as bad as GET with a JSON body. QUERY is idempotent and repeatable. Its wild to think that is took so long for this to be codified.

Explained to 14 yo how you can multiply numbers by adding their logarithms (and divide by subtracting them), and how before calculators this was a critical hack for doing calculations.
