@BendelowGreens We're not doing this again are we golf twitter?! Put the head of the rake in the bunker, rest the handle on the lip of the bunker (this is correct). Resting the entire rake in the bunker or out of the bunker is incorrect. Stop debating the correctness of 2 incorrect options!

@TronCarterNLU Hamilton is the best option for our national open in so many ways, the course is fantastic, logistics in & out for patrons is better than the GTA clubs, and the players seems to enjoy it more than the other options. Also, it doesn't get any better than the 18th hole amphitheater!

Hamilton’s been wonderful this week. Seems agnostic as far as what it favors. A ton of variety on the leaderboard. What a massive upgrade over Oakdale last year (and likely in ‘26 🤢) Foxy and Big Shot Bob dueling is Soly’s worst nightmare. He’s furious!

@ScottyTidwell @StephenRoche100 @mikeclaytongolf @flushingitgolf Half of it in the bunker (the rake portion) and half out (the handle) resting on the lip of the bunker. This significantly reduces the amount the rake contacts the ground but it's always this age old debate of in vs. out 🤷‍♂️

I’ve never understood why people argue for a rake to be outside of a bunker. IMO if you hit a rake in a hazard, it’s your own fault. Should never interfere with a shot before a hazard though. What do you think @mikeclaytongolf @flushingitgolf @AnrewKirbyGolf

@Mike_kim714 I'm the same way. In my mind it's left handed. I'm standing on the left hand side of the ball, with my left eye closest to the target, and my left hand on top of the club. Nothing about it feels right handed to me.

I’m left handed but swing right landed. I think there are some unique characteristics from this. I have no problems pulling hard down with my left lats and arms in the transition which helps me create that initial speed but I struggle to transfer all that energy to the club head and releasing the club with my right arm. It’s why I hate missing it to the right. If I’m missing it left, it’s really easy for me to bring it to center but if I’m missing it right, it’s a lot of work for me to bring it more left to the center. “Push” workouts are a must for me in the gym: stuff like bench press, and medicine ball throws that are focused on getting the energy out

@GolfSpyT All that matters is how it looks when you set up to hit a shot and this driver looks amazing at address and it performs! I just don't understand why people get worked up about how the club looks on the bottom 🤷‍♂️

@HankyZetts @blastellanos69 @scottcwheeler I remember going back several years now how they used to snub high skills guys in favor of two way players/grit...I thought they learned their lesson by inviting skill players the last few years and having success. This seems like a step backwards regardless of the outcome.

Officially my last day at Kamloops Golf and Country Club. I started 21 years ago as a back shop kid and spent the last 11 as Superintendent. It has truly been a 2nd home for me. I grew up here, met my wife here, brought my kids to play here. I will miss it. Tough to say goodbye.
